The first of our end of season awards, in association with Castrol Rankings, is the Premier League Team of the Season. The 4-4-2 formation may be as fashionable as Rafael Benitez right now, but the official PFA Team of the Year is lined up in such a way so we will do the same with our version, shunning the 4-2-3-1 that is in vogue amongst many of the top-flight clubs.
