Martin O'Neill rages against the injustice of decisions against Chelsea

And while many Chelsea supporters will dismiss his fulmination against Howard Webb, the referee, as another study in stress and disappointment, the disturbing truth is that O'Neill was correct on both counts. An FA Cup semi-final was disfigured by the main match official neglecting to apply the laws of the game: especially to John Terry, the Chelsea captain, who escaped with a yellow card for a brutal 73rd-minute lunge on Milner that O'Neill described as "horrendous".

I think that Milner was lucky to stay on the field after that horrible tackle- leading with his shin right into EBJT's exposed studs was dangerous and could have seriously jeopardized England's World Cup campaign if Captain Fantastic had been hurt. He should have gotten a 10 match ban.

It does make you wonder about the double standards on display. Must be nice to know you can throw yourself around without the fear of getting sent off. At least we go to see him cry in the CL Final, the wanker.

Honestly, this is no different than the treatment that Alan Shearer used to get. Then again if EBJT really had that kind of clout he'd have had the card rescinded by the FA after the match.
