Chelsea charged after Old Trafford incident

Chelsea have been charged by the Football Association with failing to control their players during their defeat at Manchester United on Sunday.

Mike Dean, the referee, reported the club after at least four players, including John Terry, Claude Makelele, Michael Essien and Andriy Shevchenko, surrounded him after he sent off John Obi Mikel, the Chelsea midfielder.

Terry, the Chelsea captain, appeared to grab Dean's red card but the England defender has not been charged individually by the FA.

He DID grab his hand! How can the FA not charge Terry individually for grabbing a ref's hand to try and keep him from producing a card?! More absurdity from the "governing body." -Sanford
