Americans In The UK: Holden It Down
Stuart Holden played a very solid game on Sunday, helping Bolton defeat Everton by assisting the first goal.
The American was impressive as he set up the first goal of the game during the win. The midfielder’s free-kick led to Gary Cahill’s header in the 10th minute. Holden then sent a challenging ball into the area in the 39th minute but Howard cleared the danger. Late in the game, Holden appeared to score but his goal was called back by the referee.
