I had the pleasure of watching the match with my good friend Pat, who was in town for business. We both agreed that Sergio's act of idiocy shot Barca in the foot. Down to 10 men, Inter found it easier to simply pack it in and frustrate Barcelona.
Barca had great chances though and easily could have gone through. I'm backing the krauts in the final.
Agreed, but I think they would have had done better with a potentially more open 11 vs. 11.
I'm not sure Inter had any intention of playing football. Twas a ridiculous sending off though and Inter defended so well and surely were galvanized by that shite.
I read a few 'Barca need a plan B' stories this morning though and it is silly. Plan B is taking easy chances (Pedro, Ibra, Bojan).
