Celtic yesterday issued a life ban to the supporter who invaded the pitch at Celtic Park on Wednesday night during the Champions league tie against AC Milan, though the club has been left sweating over the punishment being considered by Uefa for the episode. The supporter, who owned up to his act of stupidity by walking into Celtic Park yesterday and speaking with the club’s officials, was later interviewed by Strathclyde police.(AFP/File/Carl De Souza)
