MLS, Galaxy Not Beckham’s Main Goal

Martin Rogers: The midfielder’s imminent loan switch to AC Milan in the opening months of 2009 proves that Brand Beckham and England rank far ahead of the employer that facilitated his estimated five-year earnings of up to $250 million.

This article is a load of shit. If Beckham wants to play on loan in a top league while MLS is not playing, good for him! He's worked his ass off for MLS and I don't think there is any "message" here from him other than he wants to keep playing and try and remain in the England fold. Again, have at it, I say. Never thought I'd defend Golden Balls to such an extent but I don't understand the backlash here. -Ed.
