All true points, especially the bit about it being his league. Luca is a genius for scoring, no doubt, and it's a huge win for Germany to bring him there. He'll pay for himself in CL wins next year. Having said that, it's a testament to the close-mindedness of Italy that he ever left. Sure, Fiorentina sold him at the right time and were smart to take the dough, but why didn't Juve or Milan buy him when they had the same financial clout as Bayern? Because he's Italian and it took him too long to get to the top the first time. Prejudice fucks everybody every time.
Good points Bob. But it has to be said the Bundesliga is especially crap this yr. How Bayern, and Toni and Ribery in particular, do in the CL will be interesting.
