A totally brutal showing and one which I fear is a preview of the impending collapse of the Gunners season. It's true that they sent out a B team but ManYoo did as well. Lehamn looked rusty and awful on everything in the air, Hoyte looked out of his depth again, Eboue showed that he's got nothing to offer in midfield aside from bad decision making. Hleb showed nothing, Gilberto was unable to make any kind of impact in the middle, Gallas looked very beatable in the air. How does a team that was just dominated by Darren Fucking Fletcher get it up for Milan? I fear the same result when the Gunners return to Old Trafford, meaning the season hinges on both teams visits to Stamford Bridge. If the season comes down to goal differential they're cooked.
I disagree. Traore and Hoyte were horrid and United took full advantage. When Sagna and Clichy return Arsenal will be far stronger. I don't see any impending collapse.
