Italy: Serie A Weekend Preview

Goal.com looks ahead to all the Serie A action in round 20 of the calendar...

Udinese – Inter

Udinese were desperately unlucky to lose against Milan last weekend following Alberto Gilardino’s winner deep into injury time.

The Zebrette have now dropped out of the Champions League places but they are still having a superb season and should not be too disheartened by this loss.

Inter picked up their eighth win on the trot in Serie A with a controversial 3-2 success over Parma last weekend. They maintained their seven-point gap over Roma at the top of the table, although they will have their work cut out this weekend.

The Nerazzurri have started to ship goals since the injury of Walter Samuel, and they conceded twice again during the 2-2 Coppa Italia draw with Juventus in midweek. This result halted Inter’s incredible run of 13 straight wins in all competitions.
