Baptista plays his way into the first team

"Julio Baptista has shown again what a player he is," Wenger said. "He is mentally strong. He scored an own-goal and instead of feeling sorry [for himself] he scored two. He will play [more in the coming weeks]. We have lost Van Persie and now Hleb tonight, so of course he is in my mind and he will play more than you think."

The Beast has made a quicker transition to the English game than most. He's got twice the heart of Reyes, and more importantly he doesn't have half of Europe whispering in his ear about how he's better than all of this. Arsenal's top 4 strikers right now: Henry, Van Persie, Adebayor, Baptista. Is there a better group in England?

In fact, there is:

Yakubu, Euell, Viduka, Maccarone. And throw in Malcom Christie for good measure.
