Wenger Pleased With Arsenal's Return To Form

http://goal.com/en-US/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=140442

I agree that Arsenal have been playing much better of late but let's not overlook the fact that Lehman has literally saved them from dropping points on more than a couple of occasions. The stop on Ole Gunnar's shot versus ManU preserved the win http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sC5nNsqupDQ, as did his brilliant save in the waning minutes of the Charlton match. Sorry - no video at the moment. After the Gunners took the lead at The Valley, they really seemed to shut off defensively and Gallas should have been called for hand ball in the area. Throw in Jimmy Floyd's missed open header and it was all pretty tense. Better form? Yes. But there is still a certain steel that is lacking in the side and they'll need to get that sorted. Did someone say "The Beast?" -Sanford

Lehman has pulled off a couple of great saves recently, though I suppose that's what he's there for. More worrying for the Gooners would be if he were pulling off 5 or 6 saves a game. Charlton had a few chances and the ref was obviously very appreciative of the bottle of Merlot Arsene dropped off before the game, but Arsenal could have scored 6 ot 7. The left back situation is going to be interesting and surely the jury is still out on Hleb.

Hleb probably had his best game on Sat., though, yes, the jury remains out.
