Manchester United left it late against Bolton and extended their lead at the summit after Arsenal slipped up at West Brom, with the Gunners eventually grateful for a point at the Hawthorns. Chelsea overcame Manchester City at Stamford Bridge while there were other wins for Liverpool, Everton and Stoke.
