Hmmm, I love Spanish Football and love the way they continue to produce top players. It does seem no one esle is matching this recently. However, this might have something to do with Brazil, Argentina and France really falling off a bit. In the case of Brazil, the talent level does not appear to be as strong as a decade ago (Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo. but I think there is little doubt they will return. In the case of Argentina, the talent is there on the very top forwards, Messi, Aguero, Tevez etc. but not really as strong in the next generation and not as strong in defense and today the midfield. France also produces some top player, as does England. For the moment, I think Germany (after a rough patch) is the real threat to Spain. The are producing excellent players and have a great system. Today they are not as good as Spain but they can compete I think.
