The moment Poland and the Ukraine were announced as Euro 2012 hosts soccer fans the length and breadth of the continent were giddy with excitement. There's the prospect of visiting such cities as Chorzow and Kharkiv. The endless opportunities to enjoy Ukrainian motorway food as some venues are over 1000 miles apart. And of course there's the famous loving welcome afforded to all foreign fans visiting these parts, something everyone just can't wait to experience. So imagine the disappointment, not to mention shock, that the preparations aren't going swimmingly...
