Painful viewing. The ref was right under the law, but showed a complete lack of common sense. Cesc's post-game interview sounded like that of a man checking the Easyjet schedule to Barcelona.

Painful viewing indeed. Can't really blame Cesc for wanting to jump ship. There are too many quality keepers out there who Wenger could have purchased for not that much money. Fabianski and Almunia are jokes.

I didn't watch the whole match but from what I saw it sure looked like Cesc didn't exactly play the game of his life either. I can sure see how the opportunity to eat Mom's home cooking and sit on the bench behind Xavi and Iniesta would be hard to pass up, especially after getting a taste of the good life by sitting on the bench behind Xavi and Inieseta at the World Cup.
