David Moyes sets sights on Landon Donovan for Everton loan

David Moyes hopes to strengthen his injury-plagued Everton squad in the January transfer window with a loan move for the USA forward, Landon Donovan.

Everton could be a good spot for landycakes. They have some decent players but he could get games there I think. The problem is that he may want to start every game right from the beginning and I'm not sure he would there. When Arteta comes back in January they have Saha, Bilysmirnov, Jo, Cahill, Pineear, Fellani, Yakubu and a few kids.

Based on his passed euro experience, I'd prefer Landon show his worth somewhere where he will be thrown to the lions as soon as he signs.

They are still alive in the Europa League so I would think he'd get some decent playing time either there or in the EPL. I don't think he has much of a choice -- he's got to do this to ensure he stays fit.
