Hoffenheim bucks the powerhouse trend

With the familiar faces again dominating the title races in England, Italy, Spain and most of Europe's leagues, the sight of Hoffenheim at the top of Germany's Bundesliga gives hope to the rest. From a town with only 3,300 inhabitants, Hoffenheim looks down on mighty Bayern Munich and its position at the top is a tribute to coach Ralf Rangnick, whose team is playing topflight football for the first time in its history.
