Arsenal: Carling Cup Sacrifices and The Pre-Mature Return of Bad Luck
Traditionally Wenger has used the Carling Cup to give the young players a chance. But there is an underlying tension amongst fans that if Arsenal doesn’t collect any silverware this year then integral players such as Fabregas and Adebayor will leave. With this in mind, I ask whether or not it is worth fielding a “B” Team for the entirety of the Carling Cup campaign.
