Euro 2008 Quarter Final: Portugal 2 - 3 Germany

Portugal looked like they didn't know what hit them after two clinical first-half goals from the Germans. The usual swagger was missing from Big Phil's side and their technical skills were poor. The Germans were a lot bigger, and a lot better. And Ronaldo cried a lot...

I went into this match rooting slightly for the Portuguese due to their more attractive style of play. But the Germans quickly made me switch allegiances -- they were more fun to watch and the Ports were falling all over the place. And then there is Ronaldo, of course. The stomp on his ankle was priceless.
