With most of the major European leagues just beginning their grueling seasons, there were few highlights to report from the weekend. One bright spot was USMNT and Borussia Monchengladbach center midfielder Michael Bradley’s performance in Germany’s cup competition, the DFB Pokal. Bradley opened his side’s scoring in the 38th minute and played for 90 minutes as he led his team to a 3-1 victory over FC Erzgebirge Aue.
