With England's players travelling back from Wednesday night's friendly in Amsterdam, Bentley was arrested after his car was involved in a collision with a lamp-post in the early hours of the morning in Judges Hill, Northaw. No other vehicle was involved, with Bentley taken to Hatfield Police station and duly charged.
