Messi scores twice as Barcelona beat Seattle 4-0
Blinding in his nuclear peach uniform, Messi put on a display of dominance Wednesday night for an American audience getting a chance to see arguably the world's best team. Messi scored twice in the first half and FC Barcelona continued its preseason tour of the U.S. with a 4-0 win over the Seattle Sounders FC.
Sheedy's shot from the stands...

I really could not care less about these preseason U.S. tour thingies but Sheedy sent me the photo and I figured it deserved a post. -Sanford
The game was meaningless - but it is great to see 68000 people turn up to watch the match.
Plus, if you're Barcelona you get a nice 90min chance to:
a) make a fuckload of money
b) tune up your A and B squad for the season.
And if you're Aaron Sheedy you get:
a) raped by $8 a beer
b) to see messi and henry live and in person
c) to watch great soccer in your home stadium
so still cool....if meaningless.
