What did people think about this? Being a Gooner I'm biased, but although there was no contact, I can't fault a guy who's leg was shattered by a brutal tackle for making sure he doesn't get clattered by the keeper. He didn't know the keeper would pull up. My two cents. -Sanford
I think there was contact, just not the kind that could have sent him tumbling the keeper brushed against his knee...and very few of us know what it is like to be a crozilian.
It was a dive. Stevie Gerrard would have been proud. Nothing unusual for a Brazilian player- I challenge anyone to think of a countryman of his who wouldn't have played it that way. Having said that, the majority of the Celtic players came out of the tunnel like they wanted to punch somebody and Eddie was just playing it safe. He'll get a one match suspension from UEFA.
