Sanford, while fine in this case I'd like to issue a general warning against letting Jamie Trecker tell you how to feel about anything. It will only lead to self loathing, getting lousy tattoos, hanging around Fado trying to impress people and writing books nobody will read about how American soccer culture sucks.
Also I think everyone's overlooking the obvious regarding Kljestian's red card- it was for his horrible new mustache.
Yeah, I just started adding his column recently. As with everything on SSN, feel free to read and judge as you wish. He certainly does have a bit of a doomsday outlook, but after this match, it seemed appropriate.
Thanks for letting us know about the red card -- I knew there had to be a reason but just like in the Italy match I couldn't figure it out.
