England flew to the States on the back of a poor World Cup qualifying loss in Norway but worse was to come. Graham Taylor’s side were all over the place as they were comfortably beaten in Massachusetts. Even Alexi Lalas — wearing his ginger-goatee beard — got on the scoresheet.
