I have ambivalent feelings. He's a quality player that we got for peanuts. But he's Silvestre, for Christ sake! I guy I've hated for over 10 years! And why would Sir Alex let him go to a big rival? Is he washed up? Or will this be another instance of Arsene magic? Bottom line, I suppose, is this: I would have rather spent good $$ on Kompany.
for 750k I'll take a quality player who will be pissed United thought so little of him that they would sell. The fact that he keeps Traore off the pitch is a real value. Hopefully the rest of the Arsesquad feels insulted by this too. We still could use an experienced ball winner.
