Carey signs on to invest in Seattle expansion team

The new franchise, which will begin play in 2009, was announced Friday and was to be formally introduced Tuesday.

But Carey was at Monday night's Seahawks game against San Francisco at Qwest Field, which will be the home of the to-be-named franchise.
