Werder Bremen have got their Champions League challenge back on track with a 2-1 victory over Lazio at the Weser Stadion. Goals from Boubacar Sanogo and Hugo Almeida clinched the points. A Christian Manfredini goal at the end gave Lazio some hope, but the home side prevailed.
