The excuses must stop as Wenger has to face up to flaws

With Sam Allardyce’s stinging condemnation of a man who “always looks for excuses” still ringing in his ears, the challenge facing Arsène Wenger is to prove him wrong.

The Arsenal manager insisted that there was nothing wrong with his side apart from their points total after losing at the Reebok Stadium last weekend, a specious claim shattered by the 2-1 defeat away to Fulham on Wednesday.
