San Marino 0-13 Germany: Record breakers
This is just sad. And the final goal was on a penalty. Ouch. San Marino is the third-smallest nation in Europe, by the way. Only Vatican City and Monaco are smaller. So why doesn't Vatican City have a squad? I wonder how many the Germans could fire past them? In a show of sympathy for San Marino, I have attached their flag.-Sanford

Even sadder I watched the game. i actually became bored of watching goals - didn't think that could happen. What kind of commentary could some one give on this one - San Marino was hard done by, and it should have only been 9-0? A joke about Germany missing the extra point?
Think FIFA really needs to do the pre-q for these tiny "countries." It was mindless and i would hate to see a team make the Euros based on a better goal differential due to a result like this. If it is about money for these minnows to supposedly help improve football in their countries, just cut them a little slice from the real matches, like France v Italy that generate big $.
