Aston Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov is "upbeat" as he begins his treatment for acute leukaemia, according to former Celtic team-mate John Hartson. Hartson, a former cancer sufferer, spoke to Petrov on Sunday before he began treatment at a London hospital.
